Forgery, Theft, Drugs, DUI, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

Haverford Police reported four instances of checks being altered and cashed after they were stolen from the mail. See details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township Thursday released their weekly crime blotter.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 2 and Nov. 8.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 2 at 5:47 p.m. – An unknown male stole a shopping cart full of merchandise.
  • Theft at Ralph’s Automotive, 500 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 2 at 3:24 p.m. – Victim reported that a radio was stolen from a vehicle on his lot.
  • Forgery at the 1800 block of Earlington Road on Nov. 4 at 12:50 p.m. – Two checks were altered and cashed after they were mailed.
  • Fraud at the 600 block of Loraine Street on Nov. 6 at 10:51 hours – Victim reported that someone gained access to his bank account to wire money and cash a check against his account without his knowledge.
  • Criminal Mischief at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 6 at 9:44 a.m. – Vehicle was keyed
  • Public Drunkenness at West Chester Pike and E. Westwood Park Drive on Nov. 6 at 1:34 p.m. – 36-year-old male, 500 block of Greenway Avenue, Philadelphia, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
  • Forgery at the 500 block of Furlong Avenue on Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Forgery at the 100 block of Allgates Drive on Nov. 7 at 10:28 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 8 at 12:30 p.m. – Two unknown females stole 17 reusable Starbucks cups valued at $460.83.

ARRESTS

  • 42-year-old female, Homeless. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 5 6:19 p.m.
  • 33-year-old male, 100 block of Cedar Lane, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI and driving without a license. Location: West Chester Pike and Township Line Road. Date: Nov. 6 10:15 p.m.
  • 34-year-old male, 1300 block of Edgewood Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, 1000 block of W. Darby Road. Date: Nov. 7 at 9:18 p.m.
