Haverford Crime Blotter: Assault, Sign Vandalized, Robbery, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Oct. 21 and Oct. 27.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued in that time.

  • Theft at the 1300 block of Maryland Avenue on Oct. 21 at 9:29 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; a wallet containing $400 was stolen.
  • Bicycle Theft at Haverford College, unit block of Hannum Drive, on Oct. 21 at 11:44 a.m.
  • Theft at the 1400 block of Dorchester Road on Oct. 21 at 5:41 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; loose change was stolen.
  • Aggravated Assault at the 2600 block of County Line Road on Oct. 22 at 3:20 p.m.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of E. Township Line Road, on Oct. 22 at 11:37 a.m.
  • Fraud at the 1000 block of Bon Air Road on Oct. 22 at 2:10 p.m. – Victim reported that two unauthorized purchases were made with her credit card.
  • Theft at the 600 block of Old Lancaster Avenue on Oct. 23 at 12:32 p.m. – Victim reported prescription medication missing from her residence.
  • Attempted Theft at the 700 block of Howard Avenue on Oct. 23 at 8:33 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; nothing was reported missing.
  • Public Drunkenness at the Manoa Tavern, unit block of N. Manoa Road, on Oct. 23 at 10:57 p.m. – A 22-year-old male, 700 block of Eagle Road was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Robbery at E. Benedict and Maple Avenue on Oct. 24 at 6:59 p.m. – Juvenile victim reported that an unknown male jumped on him and punched him. He stole $20 and an iPhone from his pocket.
  • Public Drunkenness at Tip O’Leary’s, 300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 24 at 11:18 p.m. – 23-year-old female, 200 block of Strathmore Road was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
  • Theft at the 1300 block of Annabella Avenue on Oct. 25 at 9:14 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; a backpack containing a Passport and laptop was stolen.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 1500 block of Lynnewood Road on Oct. 25 at 2:23 p.m.
  • Theft at the 200 block of Ivy Rock Lane on Oct. 25 at 8:17 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; loose change and $30 was stolen from a wallet.
  • Theft at the 300 block of N. Eagle Road on Oct. 25 at 9:28 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; approximately $10 was stolen.
  • Theft at the 1300 block of Annabella Avenue on Oct. 25 at 9:38 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; approximately $30 and work identification was stolen.
  • Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Ivy Rock Lane on Oct. 25 at 12:02 p.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered – nothing was reported missing.
  • Vandalism at the 700 block of N. Eagle Road on Oct. 25 at 1:10 a.m. – Political sign was vandalized.
  • Retail Theft at Kid to Kid, 1200 block of Township Line Road, on Oct. 26 at 8:01 p.m. – An unknown male stole an unknown amount of merchandise.
  • Fraud at the 1900 block of Lawrence Road on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. – Victim reported multiple unauthorized purchases with his credit card.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 500 block of Grand Avenue on Oct. 27 at 5:02 p.m.
  • Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 27 at 4:49 p.m. – Victim reported that someone stole her wallet while she was shopping. An unauthorized purchase was made with one of her credit cards.

  • 28-year-old male, 500 block of Spruce Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: Warrant. Location: unit block of Eagle Road. Date: Oct. 23 at 6:47 a.m.
  • 60-year-old male, 1300 block of Scott Avenue, Sharon Hill. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Oct. 23 at 12:16 p.m.
  • 42-year-old male, 500 block of Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Public drunkenness, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 700 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Oct. 24 at 7:16 a.m.
