Haverford Crime Blotter: Attempted Burglary, Identity Theft, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township have issued their weekly crime blotter.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 9 and Dec. 15.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS:

• Fraud at the 400 block of Pembroke Road on Dec. 9 at 2:50 p.m. – Victim reported an unauthorized purchase was made with her debit card.
• Theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Dec. 11 at 7:06 p.m. – An unknown male stole $100 from the cash register.
• Attempted Burglary at the 2400 block of Merwood Lane on Dec. 12 at 4:21 a.m. – Two glass pane windows from the interior wood door were shattered. It does not appear that entry was gained.
• Bicycle Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Dec. 12 at 3:13 p.m.
• Vandalism at the 1900 block of Lawrence Road on Dec. 12 at 2:17 p.m. – Victim reported that someone drilled a hole in his gas tank.
• Vandalism at the 100 block of Campbell Avenue on Dec. 13 at 3:28 p.m. – Decorative flag was damaged.
• Vandalism at the 2500 block of Olcott Avenue on Dec. 13 at 6:29 p.m. – Power cord to Christmas decorations were cut.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Myrtle Avenue on Dec. 15 at 5:13 p.m. – Victim reported that she was the victim of a computer scam.

ARRESTS:

• 49-year-old male, 2200 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue, Ardmore. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 600 block of Kenilworth Road. Date: Dec. 11 at 12:01 a.m.
• 46-year-old male, 400 block of Westbourne Drive, Broomall. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 600 block of Kenilworth Road. Date: Dec. 11 at 12:01 a.m.
• 62-year-old male, 200 block of Clifton Avenue, Collingdale. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Dec. 14 at 2:09 p.m.
