- Theft at Haverford Administration Building, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Feb. 12 at 3:38 p.m. – An employee reported petty cash missing from an unlocked box.
- Fraud at the 600 block of Ashurst Road on Feb. 12 at 12:11 p.m. – Victim reported that he applied for a job online. He was sent a check for $4,997.87 and advised to keep $750 for his first week pay and instructed on what to do with the rest of the money. He became aware of the scam before sending the suspect money.
- Theft at the 1300 block of Virginia Avenue on Feb. 13 at 3:43 a.m. – Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her residence by a person known to her.
- Identity Theft at the 500 block of Saint Albans Road on Feb. 13 at 9:15 a.m. – Victim reported credit cards and a credit line were opened by an unknown person using his identity.
- Fraud at the 700 block of Haverford Road on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. – Victim received an email from a person claiming to be her boss. He requested that she buy $200 worth of business cards and send him a picture of the cards and the pins. The victim was advised of the scam.
- Bicycle Theft at the 2800 block of Saint Mary’s Road on Feb. 15 at 10:24 a.m.
- Fraud at Ardmore Beverage, 2500 block of Haverford Road, on Feb. 15 at 1:17 p.m. – Victim left his credit card at the business after he made a purchase. An unknown person took the card and made unauthorized purchases.
- Criminal Mischief at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Feb. 15 at 1:32 p.m. – Victim reported black paint drops on her vehicle hood, front windshield and rear driver side door.
- Vandalism at the Wyndmoor Apartments, 100 block of S. Eagle Road, on Feb. 15 at 11:09 a.m. – Legally parked vehicle was egged.
- Burglary at the 1300 block of Dermond Road on Feb. 16 at 9:48 a.m. – Forced entry was made through a rear door. The residence was ransacked. Jewelry was reported stolen.
- Theft at the 1600 block of Lawrence Road on Feb. 17 at 8:07 p.m. – Victim reported that two credit cards and $70 was stolen from her residence. Two unauthorized purchases were made with one of the credit cards.
- Fraud at the 1000 block of Crest Road on Feb. 17 at 11:33 hours – Victim reported that someone opened a bank account using his identity.
ARRESTS:
- 38-year-old male, 6100 block of Arch Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI and suspended registration. Location: Ardmore Avenue and Maple Shade Road. Date: Feb. 11 at 9:14 p.m.
- 36-year-old male, 200 block of N. Clifton Avenue, Aldan. Charges: Retail Theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 11 at 4:55 p.m.
- 47-year-old male, 100 block of Glendale Road, Havertown. Charges: Illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock. Location: W. Darby and Mill Roads. Date: Feb. 14 at 4:39 p.m.
- 64-year-old male, 6100 block of W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 16 at 1:11 p.m.
