HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Township Police released their weekly crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 18 and Nov. 24.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

  • Fraud at the 100 block of Ormond Avenue on Nov. 18 at 1:09 p.m. – Victim reported that his email and various accounts were hacked by an unknown person. Three cell phones were ordered from his AT&T account.
  • Identity Theft at the 700 block of Humphreys Road on Nov. 18 at 5:20 p.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to open a Verizon account.
  • Theft at the 1700 block of Earlington Road on Nov. 19 at 5:50 p.m. – Victim reported that a person known to her entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a battery jump back.
  • Burglary at Carl’s Cards and Collectibles, unit block of W. Eagle Road, on Nov. 20 at 3:13 a.m. – Forced entry was gained through the front door. Three frames were recovered from the back of the property. Nothing appeared to be missing.
  • Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 20 at 10:02 p.m. – A lockbox was stolen from a truck containing over $4,000 worth of tools.
  • Theft at the 1400 block of Sunny Hill Lane on Nov. 20 at 11:52 a.m. – Victim reported several home good products missing from her home.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Fawn Lane on Nov. 20 at 2:40 p.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to open a back account.
  • Fraud at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on Nov. 22 at 11:21 a.m. – Victim reported an unauthorized purchase made with her debit card.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on Nov. 23 at 8:12 p.m. – An unknown male made a $531.32 purchase using a fraudulent credit card.
  • Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Washington Avenue on Nov. 23 at 6:45 p.m. – Victim reported that she observed an unknown male attempting to enter vehicles. Officers arrived and located the subject. 59-year-old male was arrested.
  • Fraud at the 300 block of Greenview Lane on Nov. 24 at 11:36 a.m. – Victim received a phone call from a man claiming to be from the Social Security Office. The caller requested money to be transferred to correct a problem with his identity.

ARRESTS:

  • 55-year-old male, 300 block of Oxford Road, Plymouth Meeting. Charges: DUI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: West Chester Pike and Oxford Lane. Date: Nov. 15 at 8:12 p.m.
  • 26-year-old male, 400 block of Llanerch Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 400 block of Llanerch Avenue. Date: Nov. 18 at 3:45 p.m.
  • 55-year-old male, 2400 block of Freemansburg Avenue, Easton. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 400 block of Llanerch Avenue. Date: Nov. 18 at 3:45 p.m.
  • 34-year-old male, 200 block of Cranbourne Drive, Broomall. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Heatherwood and Covington Roads. Date: Nov. 20 at 4:06 p.m.
  • 26-year-old male, 2600 block of Darby Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault, harassment, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 2600 block of Darby Road. Date: Nov. 20 at 4:24 p.m.
