HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their most recently crime blotter this week.

The blotter features incidents that occurred between March 11 and March 16.

  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on March 11 at 8:09 p.m. – Loss Prevention Officer reported that an unknown male attempted to walk out of the store with a full shopping cart.
  • Theft at the unit block of Llandaff Road on March 12 at 12:47 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Bicycle Theft at Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of East Darby Road, on March 12 at 4:54 p.m.
  • Theft at the CREC, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on March 13 at 12:08 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered – a purse containing debit card, credit cards, driver’s license, cell phone and approximately $20 was stolen.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on March 13 at 6:29 p.m. – An unknown female stole over $200 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
  • Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Burmont Road on March 13 at 1:25 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a credit card account using his identity.
  • Criminal Mischief at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on March 13 at 7:38 p.m. – Graffiti was reported
  • Public Drunkenness at the 300 block of Kathmere Road on March 13 at 6:53 p.m. – 44-year-old male, 200 block of Kathmere Road was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
  • Burglary at Public Storage, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on March 14 at 4:49 p.m. – Victim reported that the lock was cut on his storage unit. $13,000 worth of music equipment was stolen.
  • Bicycle Theft at 300 block of Virginia Avenue on March 14 at 11:20 a.m.
  • Vandalism at the 600 block of Wynnewood Road on March 14 at 12:13 p.m. – Walk way lights were broken.
  • Theft at Poppi’s Cafe, 1200 block of West Township Line Road, on March 15 at 2:20 p.m. – Victim reported that a former employee stole approximately $7,500 from the business.
  • Attempted Theft at the 600 block of Georges Lane on March 15 at 3:54 a.m. – Victim observed an unknown person attempt to enter her vehicle.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on March 16 at 12:27 p.m. – An unknown female stole five cases of hard seltzer and fled the store.

ARRESTS:

  • 29-year-old male, 1300 block of Tristram Circle, Mantua, NJ. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: 1800 block of Lawrence Road. Date: March 12 at 9:05 a.m.
  • 33-year-old female, unit block of Southridge Road, Darby. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: March 13 at 5:35 p.m.
