HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The latest crime blotter from Haverford Township Police features two weeks' worth of incidents, arrests, and citations.

The blotter covers police activity between June 29 and July 12.

INCIDENTS:

• Vandalism at the 500 block of Ellis Road on June 29 at 7:49 a.m. – Victim reported that his front window was broken by a rock.
• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on June 30 at 8:29 a.m. – An unknown male stole $623.98 worth of merchandise.
• Theft at the Manoa Shopping Center, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 30 at 1:04 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – sneakers and a Louis Vuitton bag containing a MacBook was stolen.
• Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on June 30 at 4:30 p.m. – Victim reported that someone stole her blank check books. One checked was cashed.
• Fraud at Franklin Mint, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on June 30 at 10:41 a.m. – The bank manager reported that a skimming device was inserted into their ATM machine.
• Vandalism at the 400 block of Glendale Road on June 30 at 4:51 p.m. – Victim reported multiple scratches and a chemical sprayed on his vehicle.
• Forgery at the 2500 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue on July 1 at 10:12 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Forgery at the 1700 block of Academy Lane on July 1 at 10:24 a.m. - A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Public Drunkenness at McSorleys Ale House, 2300 block of Haverford Road, on July 1 at 9:55 p.m. – 32-year-old male, 800 block of Aubrey Avenue was cited for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
• Theft at the 1800 block of Robinson Avenue on July 2 at 10:29 a.m. – Victim reported that he mailed a birthday card that included five $20 bills to his grandchild. His grandchild did receive the card in a plastic bag packaged by the post office but the money was missing.
• Counterfeiting at Acme, 600 block of West Lancaster Avenue, on July 2 at 8:20 p.m. – An unknown male made a purchase with a counterfeit $100.00 bill.
• Forgery at the 1600 block of Woodmere Way on July 2 at 12:51 p.m. - A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Burglary at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on July 3 at 11:09 p.m. - Forced entry was made to the door at the construction site. Pictures were pulled off the wall, trash cans were knocked over, graffiti was on the wall and computer monitors and tablets were thrown on the floor.
• Criminal Mischief at the 800 block of Valley Road on July 3 at 9:37 p.m. – Residence was egged.
• Identity Theft at the 1600 block of West Chester Pike on July 4 at 9:50 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Criminal Mischief at the 200 block of East Marthart Avenue on July 4 at 6:31 a.m. – Vehicle rear fender area was damaged and the side view mirror was broken off.
• Criminal Mischief at the 1600 block of Woodmere Way on July 4 at 6:28 a.m. – Vehicle side view mirror was knocked off.
• Criminal Mischief at the 1700 block of Ridgeway Drive on July 4 at 6:31 a.m. – Vehicle side view mirror was knocked off.
• Criminal Mischief at Woodmere Way and Ridgeway Road on July 4 at 6:40 a.m. – Vehicle side view mirror was damaged.
• Burglary at Buratta Restaurant, unit block of East Eagle Road, on July 5 at 12:26 p.m. – The restaurant owner reported that someone entered the restaurant and stole approximately $1,000 from the safe. The wiring to the security system was cut and three fire extinguishers were emptied throughout the business
• Bicycle Theft at Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on July 5 at 3:40 p.m.
• Forgery at the 300 block of Colfax Avenue on July 5 at 2:37 p.m. - A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on July 6 at 9:21 p.m. – Loss prevention officer observed an unknown male steal $15,444.00 worth of merchandise on video surveillance.
• Public Drunkenness at the 400 block of East Manoa Road on July 6 at 9:14 p.m. – 40-year-old female, unit block of Stewart Avenue was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on July 7 at 8:40 a.m. – Loss prevention officer observed an unknown female steal $691.98 worth of wire.
• Theft at the CREC, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on July 7 at 5:07 p.m. – Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was in an exercise class.
• Theft at the 400 block of Olympic Avenue on July 7 at 9:24 p.m. – Registration plate was stolen from a vehicle.
• Identity Theft at the 600 block of Kenilworth Road on July 7 at 6:58 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for an AT&T account.
• Criminal Mischief at the 300 block of Glen Gary Drive on July 7 at 12:42 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
• Theft at the 1300 block of West Chester Pike on July 9 at 6:58 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
• Forgery at the unit block of Meadows Lane on July 9 at 10:31 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Forgery at the 1000 block of Weller Avenue on July 10 at 1:44 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Theft at the 100 block of West Eagle Road on July 11 at 10:08 a.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
• Theft at the unit block of Dartmouth Lane on July 11 at 8:46 a.m. – Victim reported that someone removed lawn signs from his front lawn.
• Forgery at the unit block of Scarlet Oak Drive on July 11 at 4:06 p.m. – Victim reported that three checks were altered and cashed after they were mailed.
• Burglary at the 1000 block of Allston Road on July 12 at 8:30 p.m. – A neighbor observed a group of juveniles inside the basement of the residence while they were on vacation. The juveniles fled when they were confronted. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was reported damaged or missing.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on July 12 at 6:49 p.m. – An unknown male and female stole $1,524.99 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
• Bicycle Theft at Merwood Park, 2500 block of Wynnefield Drive, on July 12 at 1:37 p.m.
• Criminal Mischief at the unit block of East Marthart Avenue on July 12 at 6:35 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.

ARRESTS:

• 35-year-old male, 2400 block of West Emaus Avenue, Allentown. Charges: Contempt for violation of order of agreement. Location: 400 block of Colfax Road. Date: July 1 at 1:20 p.m.
• 31-year-old male, 300 block of Huntley Road, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI, careless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: West Chester Pike and Glendale Road. Date: July 1 at 11:55 p.m.
• 23-year-old male, 6300 block of Sherwood Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Identity Theft, access device fraud, theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Location: Wilkie Lexus, 500 block of Lancaster Avenue. Date: July 11 at 11:18 a.m.
• 36-year-old male, 900 block of Swede Street, Norristown. Charges: Retail theft and receiving stolen property. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: July 6 at 1:23 p.m.
• 38-year-old male, 5400 block of Catherine Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 7 at 5:57 p.m.
• 33-year-old female, 3500 block of Wessex Lane, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 7 at 5:57 p.m.
• 49-year-old male, 600 block of Market Street, Camden, N.J. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: July 8 at 9:56 a.m.
• 39-year-old male, 600 block of Georges Lane, Ardmore. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 600 block of Georges Lane. Date: July 10 at 7:39 p.m.
• 33-year-old male, 1400 block of Drager Road, Columbia. Charges: Warrant. Location: Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: July 11 at 10:03 a.m.
