Haverford Crime Blotter: Counterfeit Money, Identity Theft, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter, and we have the details.

Incidents in the blotter occurred in the township between Nov. 15 and Nov. 19.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issues in recent days.

INCIDENTS:

• Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Nov. 15 at 9:55 a.m. – victim states that an unknown person took his cell phone and key fob out of his gym bag while in the pool area.
• Counterfeiting at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 15 at 3:52 p.m. – victim states that two unknown males used counterfeit bills to buy gift cards and food.
• Fraud in the 200 block of Brentwood Road on Nov. 15 at 11:15 a.m. – victim states that an unknown person has been making purchases using her bank account.
• Identity Theft in the unit block of E. Golfview Road on Nov. 15 at 4:44 p.m. – victim states that she received a letter from social security stating that her address was updated; victim did not change her address.
• Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 16 at 2:12 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person took a large amount of money from her purse.
• Fraud in the 600 block of Ellis Road on Nov. 17 at 12:26 p.m. – victim states that her Verizon was hacked and an unknown person gained access to her bank account attempting to make large purchases for Apple products.
• Disorderly Conduct at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Nov. 17 at 1:24 a.m. – 23-year-old male, 600 block of Lawton Terrace, Holmes and a 30-year-old male, 700 block of W. Springfield Road, Springfield were cited for Disorderly Conduct.

ARRESTS:

• 31-year-old female, 5900 block of Nassau Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with Intent to Deliver. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 14 at 8:20 p.m.
• 28-year-old male, 600 block of Preston Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft, Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 14 at 8:20 p.m.
• 44-year-old male, 400 block of Glendale Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple Assault and Harassment. Location: 400 block of Glendale Road. Date: Nov. 16 at 9:47 a.m.
• 57-year-old male, 2000 block of E. Wishart Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI. Location: Wine and Spirits, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 18 at 3:10 p.m.
• 24-year-old-female, 8200 block of Rodney Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Nov. 19 at 9:51 p.m.
