HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The newest crime blotter from Haverford Township Police is out.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Feb. 19 and Feb. 25.
It also contains arrests made and citations issued in that time frame.

- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 19 3:37 p.m. – Loss prevention officer reported that an unknown female stole approximately $300 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
- Theft at West Gate Hills Rehabilitation, 2000 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Feb. 19 4:31 p.m. – A resident reported that jewelry and approximately $50 worth of coins had been removed from her room.
- Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Signal Road on Feb. 19 4:03 a.m. – While on patrol an officer observed a male attempt to enter a vehicle. The officer conducted a pedestrian investigation and found the subject in possession of a key fob and loose change. 25-year-old male was arrested.
- Fraud at Citizens Bank, 100 block of W. Eagle Road, on Feb. 20 3:06 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to cash a fraudulent check.
- Retail Theft at Ace Hardware, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 21 7:40 p.m. – Video surveillance shows two unknown males remove two chain saws and exit the store without paying.
- Theft at Starbucks, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 21 10:19 p.m. – An unknown male stole approximately $15 from the tip jar and fled the store.
- Theft at the 400 block of Spring Road on Feb. 22 8:45 a.m. – Vehicle was entered – silver pendant, art supplies and loose change was stolen.
- Vandalism at Waterford Apartments, 1900 block of Lawrence Road, on Feb. 22 11:01 a.m. – Victim reported that someone placed glue inside the lock of her apartment door.
- Theft at Dunkin Donuts, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 24 8:37 a.m. – Victim reported that her cell phone was stolen at some point while she placed her order. Video surveillance showed the victim leave her cell phone on the counter and exit the store. An unknown female picks up the phone and places it in her pocket.
- Counterfeiting at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 24 5:03 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to reload an unknown type of card with a counterfeit $100 bill.
- Identity Theft at the 1500 block of Ashton Road on Feb. 24 10:07 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open a Verizon account.
- Fraud at the 800 block of Loraine Street on Feb. 24 2:37 p.m. – Victim received a call from an unknown person claiming to be from Mega Millions and advised her that she had won $500,000. She was told that it would cost her $90 to get the card with her winnings. Victim was aware of the scam and did not provide the caller any money.
- Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of Juniper Road on Feb. 24 9 a.m. – 30-year-old female, 400 block of Spring Road was cited for criminal mischief for kicking a vehicle during an argument.
- Theft at the 400 block of Olympic Avenue on Feb. 25 8:48 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered - $300.00 was removed from her wallet.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Feb. 25 6:51 p.m. – Victim reported multiple credit cards were stolen from the locker room. He received reports of unauthorized activity on the cards.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the 2600 block of Chestnut Avenue on Feb. 25 11:37 a.m.
- Fraud at the unit block of S. Eagle Road on Feb. 25 9:18 a.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made an unauthorized purchase with her credit card.
ARRESTS:
- 25-year-old male, 700 block of Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and loitering and prowling at night. Location: 200 block of Signal Road. Date: Feb. 19 4:03 a.m.
- 46-year-old male, 1300 block of Virginia Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault, harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 1300 block of Virginia Avenue. Date: Feb. 23 8:18 p.m.
