Haverford Crime Blotter: Fraud, Stolen Vehicles, Theft, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter, and we have the details here.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 4 and Dec. 10.

INCIDENTS:

• Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of East Township Line Road, on Dec. 4 at 1:20 p.m. – vehicle was rented out on Oct. 26 and has yet to be returned.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of East Township Line Road, on Dec. 4 at 1:20 p.m. – vehicle was rented out on Nov. 8 and has yet to be returned.
• Vandalism at Bryn Mawr Rugs, 600 block of West Lancaster Avenue, on Dec. 4 at 11:45 a.m. – victim states that he found chips in the marble surrounding the front of his store.
• Fraud in the 400 block of Shelbourne Road on Dec. 5 at 5:39 p.m. – victim states that an unauthorized person made transactions using her bank account.
• Fraud at Crozier Keystone Health, 400 block of West Chester Pike, on Dec. 5 at 11:17 a.m. – fraudulent prescriptions were discovered.
• Fraud in the 1800 block of Melrose Avenue on Dec. 5 at 5:55 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person attempted to make purchases using her Venmo account; her accounts were frozen, nothing was taken.
• Theft in the 300 block of Francis Drive on Dec. 6 at 2:14 p.m. – victim states that an unauthorized gained access to her bank account.
• Public Drunkenness in the unit block of East Township Line Road on Dec. 6 at 11:01 a.m. – a 62- year-old-male, unit block of Stephan Court, Upper Darby was cited.
• Theft in the 100 block of Merrybrook Avenue on Dec. 7 at 11:07 a.m. – victim states that an unknown person removed a package from his front porch; investigation is ongoing.
• Simple Assault at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Dec. 7 at 10:40 p.m. – the store manager was hit on the side of face after a confrontation with a customer; investigation is ongoing.
• Public Drunkenness at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on Dec. 9 at 5:10 p.m. - a 57-year-old male, 100 block of Madison Street, Upper Darby was cited.
• Fraud in the 200 block of Strathmore Road on Dec. 10 at 10:58 a.m. – victim states that an unauthorized person gained access to her cell phone; phone has personal information; access was gained to her bank account.
• Fraud in the 600 block of Washington Avenue on Dec. 10 at 1:15 p.m. – victim states that fraudulent checks were cashed using her business account; investigation is ongoing.
• Identity Theft in the 100 block of Juniper Road on Dec. 10 at 3:07 p.m. – an unknown person opened a Sprint account using the victim’s name and social security number.
• Disorderly Conduct in the 400 block of East Township Line Road on Dec. 10 at 10:11 a.m. – a 70- year-old male, unit block of West Athens Avenue, Ardmore was cited.

• 39-year-old male, 3400 block of Valley Green Drive, Drexel Hill. Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana. Location: 400 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Nov. 2 at 7:13 p.m.
• 29-year-old female, 4400 block of Pilgrim Lane, Boothwyn. Charges: arrest on warrant. Location: 100 block of S. Eagle Road. Date: Dec. 5 at 10:51 a.m.
• 42-year-old female, 800 block of Aubrey Avenue, Ardmore. Charges: Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct. Location: 800 block of Aubrey Avenue. Date: Dec. 9 at 4:33 p.m.
• 20-year-old male, 1700 block of Edgewood Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Receiving Stolen Property. Location: Septa Bus Route and Merwood Lane. Date: Dec. 6 at 5:12 p.m.
• 41-year-old male, 2400 block of Crugar Avenue, Bronx, NY. Charges: Criminal Trespass and False Identification. Location: 1200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 6 at 10:17 p.m.
• 28-year-old male, 500 block of Lawrence Road, Marple. Charges: Contempt to Court, Terroristic Threats and Harassment. Location: unit block of Waverly Road. Date: Dec. 8 at 2:32 a.m.
• 39-year-old male, 200 block of Campbell Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Harassment, Public Drunkenness. Location: 200 block of Campbell Avenue. Date: Dec. 8 at 8:45 a.m.
• 29-year-old female, 600 block of Georges Lane, Ardmore. Charges: arrest on warrant. Location: 600 block of Georges Lane. Date: Dec. 9 at 10:21 p.m.
• 37-year-old male, 300 block of Saude Street, Essington. Charges: arrest on warrant. Location: 2500 block of Haverford Road. Date: Dec. 10 at 2:34 p.m.
