HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter recently.

The blotter features incidents that occurred between July 15 and July 22.

Arrests made and citations issued in that time frame are also included in the blotter.

  • Theft at the 700 block of Haverford Road on July 15 at 11:25 a.m. – Victim reported that a person known to her stole her mail.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Craig Lane on July 15 at 5:26 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits and open an AT&T account.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on July 16 at 9:44 p.m. – An unknown male stole a Mitre Saw valued at $549.99 and fled the store.
  • Identity Theft at the 1400 block of Earlington Road on July 16 at 6:08 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of East Turnbull Avenue on July 17 at 11:36 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of East Turnbull Avenue on July 17 at 11:36 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 800 block of Dover Road on July 17 at 1:34 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Fraud at the unit block of South Manoa Road on July 17 at 3:19 p.m. – The victim reported that he lost approximately $30,000 in a phone scam.
  • Fraud at the 300 block of West Chester Pike on July 18 at 11:09 a.m. – Three fraudulent checks were cashed.
  • Counterfeiting at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on July 18 at 6:25 p.m. – Two males passed four counterfeit $20 bills.
  • Theft of Services at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on July 18 at 10:50 p.m. – A customer refused to pay their bar tab.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on July 20 at 5:49 p.m. – An unknown male stole a table saw valued at $299.
  • Retail Theft at 7-Eleven, 100 block of Eagle Road, on July 20 at 6:59 p.m. – Two unknown females stole approximately $410 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
  • Theft at the 600 block of North Eagle Road on July 20 at 10:14 a.m. – Political flag was stolen.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Allgates Drive on July 20 at 9:52 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a credit card account.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Yale Road on July 20 at 11:57 a.m. – Victim reported that someone opened an online Social Security account and attempted to change his address.
  • Theft at U-haul, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on July 21 at 10:10 p.m. – Four guitars, a keyboard, several pairs of shoes and amethyst geodes were stolen. Approximately a $10,000 loss.

  • 55-year-old male, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line. Date: July 15 at 9:10 a.m.
  • 32-year-old male, Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Location: 1000 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 21 at 7:58 a.m.
