Haverford Crime Blotter: Robbery, Stolen Vehicle, Burglary, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued two weeks' worth of crime blotter incidents recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between May 11 and May 24.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS

• Theft at the unit block of Marple Road on May 11 at 10:06 a.m. – Registration tag was stolen from a vehicle.
• Fraud at the 500 block of Mill Road on May 11 at 1642 hours – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Public Drunkenness at the 300 block of East Eagle Road on May 11 at 7:51 p.m. – 59-year-old male, 800 block of Hometead Avenue was cited for public drunkenness.
• Theft at Haverford Septa Station, Haverford Road and Millbrook Lane, on May 12 at 6:13 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at the 1900 block of Chestnut Circle on May 12 at 5:55 a.m.
• Burglary at the 400 block of East Eagle Road on May 14 at 9:42 p.m. – An unknown actor gained access through a rear window. An iPad, gaming systems and designer purse were stolen.
• Attempted Burglary at the unit block of Princeton Road on May 14 at 9:50 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to force entry into a rear door. The subject fled when confronted by the homeowner.
• Public Drunkenness at Beer Guys, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on May 14 at 7 p.m. – 21-year-old male, 400 block of Glendale Road was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
• Disorderly Conduct at The Yard Pub, 300 block of West Chester Pike, on May 15 at 12:35 a.m. – 36-year-old male, unit block of Ash Drive, Neptune, New Jersey was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
• Identity Theft at the 600 block of Paddock Road on May 16 at 10:01 a.m. – Victim reported that someone opened multiple credit card accounts using her identity.
• Public Drunkenness at the 1600 block of East Darby Road on May 16 at 8:18 p.m. – 33-year-old male, 1600 block of Darby Road, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
• Identity Theft at the 1000 block of Allston Road on May 17 at 9:05 a.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a credit card account using her identity.
• Fraud at the 500 block of Wales Road on May 17 at 1:24 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Identity Theft at the 900 block of Naylors Run Road on May 17 at 12:58 p.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Fraud at the 800 block of Powder Mill Lane on May 17 at 1:04 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on May 18 at 5:40 p.m. – An unknown male stole $333.48 worth of clothing and fled the store.
• Fraud at the unit block of East Benedict Avenue on May 18 at 11:12 a.m. – Victim reported that her American Airlines account was compromised and $1,770 worth of miles were removed.
• Identity Theft at the 700 block of Wynnewood Road on May 18 at 3:05 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open an AT&T account.
• Criminal Mischief at the 800 block of West Chester Pike on May 18 at 3:24 p.m. – Vehicle rear window was broken.
• Criminal Mischief at the 200 block of Sagamore Road on May 18 at 11:02 p.m. – The side of two vehicles were spray-painted.
• Fraud at the 100 block of Colfax Road on May 19 at 4:32 p.m. – Victim reported that a check was altered and the suspect attempted to open a checking account using the fraudulent check.
• Public Drunkenness at The Quarry Center, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on May 19 at 12:32 a.m. – 28-year-old male, 1700 block of Green Valley Road was cited for public drunkenness.
• Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of North Eagle Road, on May 20 at 10:15 a.m. – Victim reported that someone broke into her locker and stole a bag and purse containing an iPhone, keys, approximately $160 and numerous credit cards.
• Fraud at the 400 block of Olympic Avenue on May 20 at 10:20 a.m. – Victim reported that a check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Walnut Place on May 20 at 1 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for a tax return.
• Fraud at the 600 block of Malvern Road on May 20 at 11:10 a.m. – Victim reported that a check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Public Drunkenness at the 600 block of Washington Avenue on May 22 at 4:29 a.m. – 22-year-old male, 100 block of Yale Road was cited for public drunkenness.
• Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on May 23 at 12:05 a.m. – Victim reported hearing aids and prescription medication stolen from her room.
• Theft at the 400 block of Cherry Lane on May 23 at 10:15 a.m. – A cast iron bench was stolen.
• Identity Theft at the 2000 block of Belvedere Avenue on May 23 at 12 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Fraud at the unit block of Claremont Boulevard on May 23 at 10 a.m. - A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Rodmor Road on May 23 at 5:07 p.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to open a bank account.
• Robbery at Santander Bank, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on May 24 at 12:34 p.m. – The victim reported that she entered the drive-thru to make a withdraw. As she completed the transaction, she was approached from behind by an unknown male who was displaying a gun. The suspect removed the tube and ran to his vehicle.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Greenbriar Lane on May 24 at 3:11 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.

• 33-year-old male, 1600 block of Darby Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI, fleeing from police, disorderly conduct, reckless driving, failure to stop at red signal and driving at safe speed. Location: 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: May 11 at 7:10 p.m.
• 27-year-old female, 1700 block of Vista Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Access device issued to another and possess access device knowing counterfeit. Location: 1600 block of Winton Avenue. Date: May 12 at 7:29 p.m., incident occurred on Oct. 21, 2021.
• 30-year-old male, 1000 block of South 3rd Street, Camden, New Jersey. Charges: Warrant. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: May 12 at 12:52 p.m.
• 36-year-old male, 1000 block of Bon Air Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, unit block of East Eagle Road. Date: May 13 at 10:20 p.m.
• 28-year-old male, 4900 block of Carlisle Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: Greenview Lane and Vincent Road. Date: May 15 at 4:58 a.m.
• 50-year-old male, 100 block of New Road, North Field, New Jersey. Charges: Warrant. Location: 1200 block of Annabella Avenue. Date: May 15 at 12:09 p.m.
• 41-year-old female, 5400 block of Locust Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: May 16 at 9:16 a.m.
• 30-year-old male, 3200 block of Front Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: May 16 at 10:44 a.m.
• 46-year-old female, 5500 block of Lineric Circle, Wilmington, Delaware. Charges: Theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and knowledge that property is proceed of illegal act. Location: 600 block of Contry Club Lane. Date: May 16 at 10:44 a.m., incident occurred on Feb. 21.
• 32-year-old male, 2100 block of Master Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 18 at 2:26 p.m.
• 48-year-old female, 100 block of Carlton Way, Marlton, New Jersey. Charges: Endangering the welfare of children, possessing an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Location: 100 block of Allgates Drive. Date: May 20 at 2:41 p.m.
• 35-year-old male, 300 block of Broad Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 21 at 6:54 p.m.
• 54-year-old male, unit block of Kenmore Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault. Location: Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: May 21 at 7:43 p.m.
• 44-year-old male, 500 block of Vernon Road, Springfield. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: May 24 at 11:38 a.m.
• 24-year-old male, 100 block of East Madison Avenue, Clifton Heights. Charges: DUI, careless driving and traffic control signals steady red light. Location: Darby and Manoa Roads. Date: May 24 at 8:51 a.m.
