Haverford Crime Blotter: Stolen Vehicle, Counterfeit Money, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police released their weekly crime blotter Wednesday, and we have the details.

Incidents in the blotter occurred in the township between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.

Also included in the blotter are arrests made and citations issues.

INCIDENTS:

• Theft at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of Railroad Avenue, on Nov. 20 at 5:32 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person took money out of her purse.
• Fraud in the 800 block of West Chester Pike on Nov. 20 at 1:09 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person altered checks that he had written.
• Fraud in the 3700 block of Darby Road on Nov. 20 at 9:23 p.m. – victim states that an unauthorized person withdrew money from his bank account.
• Fraud in the 1800 block of Belvedere Avenue on Nov. 20 at 5:06 p.m. – victim states that an unauthorized person gained access to her bank accounts.
• Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Nov. 21 at 4:29 p.m. – victim states that his air pods and cell phone were taken from a bench in the basketball court area.
• Counterfeiting at ACME, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on Nov. 22 at 9:18 p.m. – two unknown males made purchases using counterfeit bills.
• Vandalism in the 1700 block of Manor Road on Nov. 24 at 10:11 a.m. – victim’s drivers side mirror was broken off of his vehicle.
• Liquor Law Violation in the unit block of Hannum Drive on Nov. 24 at 12:09 a.m. – 18-year-old male, unit block of Wakefield Drive, Medford, NJ was cited.
• Public Drunkenness in the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue on Nov. 24 at 9:53 p.m. – 43-year-old male, 1300 block of Harrington Road, Havertown was cited.
• Motor Vehicle Theft in the unit block of W. Manoa Road on Nov. 25 at 2:41 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person stole his vehicle out of the driveway.
• Public Drunkenness at E. Township Line and Foster Roads on Nov. 25 at 8:32 p.m. – 33-year-old female, unit block of Tenby Road, Havertown was cited.
• Theft from Vehicle at St. Matthew’s Day Care, 200 block of Glen Gary Drive, on Nov. 26 at 1825 hours – victims purse was taken out her unlocked vehicle.
• Theft at Burger King, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 26 at 6:15 p.m. – victim states that her phone was taken from the above location; the unknown person gained access to her accounts and attempted to make purchases.
• Fraud in the 400 block of Glendale Road on Nov. 26 at 1:30 p.m. – an unauthorized person made purchases using the victims bank account.

ARRESTS:

• 28-year-old male, 4100 block of M Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft, Possession of Controlled Substance. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Nov. 22 at 6:08 p.m.
