Haverford Police Blotter: Identity Theft, Vandalism, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The weekly Haverford Township crime blotter is out. And we have the details here for you.

The blotter covers police-handled incidents that occurred between March 13 and March 19.

Police dealt with thefts, identity theft, and vandalism.

Also included in the blotter are arrests made and citations issued in that time frame.

INCIDENTS:

• Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on March 13 at 4:12 p.m. – The store manager reported that the same black male has been stealing hot food from the food bar, wine and beer since October 2018.
• Theft at the 1900 block of Darby Road on March 15 at 2:12 p.m. – Victim reported $30 and a lottery ticket missing from his residence.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Holbrook Avenue on March 16 at 8:40 p.m. – Victim reported multiple credit card accounts were opened using his identity without his permission.
• Theft at the 900 block of Haverford Road on March 19 at 1:53 p.m. – Laptop was stolen from an unsecured office.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Westview Road on March 19 at 6:10 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to receive medical services in Texas.
• Vandalism at the 2500 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue on March 19 at 7:28 p.m. – Fence was damaged.

ARRESTS:

• White female, 31, 5200 block of Linden Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, prohibited offensive weapons, reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: March 16 at 12:37 a.m.
• White male, 31, 2600 block of Southampton Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, false identification to law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: March 16 at 12:37 a.m.
• White female, 33, 3300 block of Lansang Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: March 19 at 9:58 p.m.
• White male, 14, was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road. Date: March 13 at 12:51 a.m.
• Black male, 14, was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Harassment, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Location: CVS, 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: March 15 at 5:28 p.m.
