Haverford Police Blotter: Numerous Thefts, Vandalism, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Police issued their most recent crime blotter on Jan. 2.

The blotter covers incidents that occurred between Dec. 26 and Jan. 1.

Police dealt with drug crimes, numerous thefts from vehicles, underage drinking, and more.

The blotter also has the arrests made and citations issues in that time.

Incidents:

• Theft in the 200 block of Walnut Place on Dec. 26 at 4:16 p.m. – A gift card was taken out of the victim’s mailbox.
• Fraud in the 200 block of James Drive on Dec. 26 at 4:10 p.m. – A purchase was made using the victim’s credit card.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 900 block of Larchmont Avenue on Dec. 27 at 8:14a.m. – A phone and tools were taken from the victims unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in the driveway.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 700 block of Ashurst Road on Dec. 27 at 9:46 a.m. – Loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in the driveway.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 600 block of Merion Avenue on Dec. 27 at 12:16 p.m. – Loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in the driveway.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 600 block of Ashurst Road on Dec. 27 at 12:11 p.m. – Loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in the driveway.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 1000 block of Larchmont Avenue on Dec. 27 at 1:40p.m. – Loose change and a flashlight were taken from an unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in the driveway.
• Fraud in the 100 block of Earlington Road on Dec. 27 at 6:35 p.m. – A large withdraw was made using the victim’s bank account.
• Criminal Mischief in the 1300 block of West Chester Pike on Dec. 27 at 2:50 p.m. – Confrontation over a parking spot occurred at the above location, victim came out to find two scratches on her vehicle.
• Vandalism in the 500 block of Mill Road on Dec. 27 at 11:25 a.m. – Spray paint was observed on a picnic table.
• Public Drunkenness in the unit block of Brookline Boulevard on Dec. 28 at 1:18 a.m. – A white male, 39, was cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct.
• Criminal Mischief at Paddock Park, 200 block of W. Hillcrest Avenue, on Dec. 28 at 8:08 p.m. – Group of juveniles were dumping trash cans.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 700 block of Lawson Avenue on Dec. 29 at 7:48 a.m. – A wallet containing numerous credit cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
• Retail Theft at ACME, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Dec. 29 at 9:49 a.m. – A white male, 29, was arrested and charged with retail theft, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 1400 block of Delmont Avenue on Dec. 29 at 1:19 p.m. – loose change was taken from two unlocked vehicles.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 300 block of Crescent Hill Drive on Dec. 29 at 5:12p.m. – Loose change and a wallet containing numerous credit cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 600 block of Lawson Avenue on Dec. 29 at 9:29 a.m. – Loose change, registration and insurance cards were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 1400 block of Kingsley Road on Dec. 29 at 7:23 a.m. –Registration and insurance cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in driveway.
• Attempted Theft from Vehicle in the 600 block of Lawson Avenue on Dec. 29 at7:15 p.m. – Items were strewn about in an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway. Nothing was missing.
• Fraud in the in unit block of Waverly Road on Dec. 29 at 12:37 p.m. – Unknown actor made a fraudulent purchase using the victim’s credit card.
• Narcotics at Mount Pleasant and Fairmount Roads on Dec. 29 at 6:36 p.m. – Officers were dispatched for an unconscious subject in a car. Upon arrival, a white female, 28, was seen getting out of the vehicle and dropped drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and charged.
• Narcotics at Darby and Manoa Roads on Dec. 29 at 12:42 a.m. – White male, 31, was arrested and charged with Possession DUI.
• Retail Theft at ACME, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Dec. 30 at 3:52 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to the above location for a retail theft attempt
• Theft from Vehicle in the 700 block of Lawson Avenue on Dec. 30 at 11:07 a.m. – Loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
• Attempted Theft from Vehicle in the 2100 block of Bryn Mawr Place on Dec. 30 at 8:39 a.m. – Items were strewn about in an unlocked vehicle. Nothing was missing.
• Fraud in the 1400 block of Dorchester Road on Dec. 30 at 5:50 p.m. – Unknown actor made a fraudulent purchase using the victim’s credit card.
• Vandalism in the 100 block of N. Belfield Avenue on Dec. 30 at 2:05 a.m. – Victims house was pelted with eggs.
• Public Drunkenness at E. Manoa and Earlington Roads on Dec. 30 at 3:07 a.m. – White male, 34, was cited for public drunkenness at the above location.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Jan. 1 at 8:49 p.m. – a white male, 27, was cited for Retail Theft.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 1400 block of Kingsley Road on Jan. 1 at 1:33 p.m. – An expired insurance card was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
• Vandalism on Kenilworth and Wincester Roads on Jan. 1 at 10:51 a.m. – Numerous vehicles were keyed at the above location by an unknown actor.
• Liquor Laws at Mill and Karakung Roads on Jan. 1 at 4:10 a.m. – White male, 20, was cited for Public Drunkenness and Underage Drinking.

• White female, 36, unit block of Carol Lane, Malvern. Charges: DUI. Location: W. Ardmore Avenue and Ellis Road. Date: Dec. 20 at 1:20 p.m.
• White male, 29, 100 block of Idlewild Lane, Media. Charges: Retail Theft, Use / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Intentionally Possessing Controlled Substance. Location: ACME, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 29 at 9:49 a.m.
• White female, 28, 1900 block of West Chester Pike, Havertown. Charges: Intentionally Possessing a Controlled Substance and Use / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Location: Mount Pleasant and Fairmount Roads. Date: Dec. 29 at 6:36 p.m.
• White male, 62, 400 block of Northcroft Road, Springfield. Charges: DUI. Location: unit block of Colonial Road. Date: Dec. 29 at 8:49 p.m.
• White male, 31, 200 block of Stanley Avenue, Havertown. Charges: DUI. Location: Manoa and Darby Roads. Date: Dec. 29 at 12:42 a.m.
• White male, 25, unit block of Oxford Circle, Broomall. Charges: DUI. Location: 200 block of Buck Lane. Date: Dec. 30 at 7:47 a.m.
• Black male, 48, 3900 block of Cambria Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft, intentionally possessing Controlled Substance, Use of Drug Paraphernalia. Location: ACME, 1305 West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 30 at 3:52 p.m.
