Haverford Police Blotter: Thefts, Burglary, Vandalism, More
Police said a home on Whitemarsh Road was broken into and had cash and jewelry stolen recently. See more details on that and other crimes.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – The Haverford Township Police Department crime blotter from the week of Nov. 14 to Nov. 21 is out.
Police in the township handled numerous incidents, including a home burglary, vandalism, identity theft, and criminal mischief.
The blotter also has arrests made and citations issued in that time frame.

INCIDENTS:

- Burglary at the unit block of Whitemarsh Road on Nov. 14 at 7:06 p.m. – Entry was gained through an unlocked door. $1000 and jewelry was stolen from the bedroom.
- Retail Theft at Giant (100 block of W. Township Line Road) on Nov. 14 at 9:43 p.m. – A white female and two black males stole $323.07 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
- Theft at the 1300 block of Annabella Avenue on Nov. 14 at 11:18 a.m. – Forced entry was gained into the rear of a work van. Power tools were stolen.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of Brookline Boulevard on Nov. 14 at 8:07 a.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person used her identity and made a $1299 purchase on her Paypal account.
- Bicycle Theft at the unit block of Vernon Road on Nov. 16 at 11:22 p.m.
- Vandalism at the 1200 block of Center Road on Nov. 16 at 8:40 a.m. – A street sign, fence and shrub were damaged.
- Theft at the 100 block of Clemson Road on Nov. 17 at 8:58 a.m. – An unlocked garage was entered, a generator was stolen.
- Theft at the YMCA (800 block of N. Eagle Road) on Nov. 17 at 5:05 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered, a purse containing credit cards, identification, $50 and keys were stolen.
- Theft at County Line Road and Cricket Avenue on Nov. 17 at 6:15 a.m. – Stop sign was stolen.
- Criminal Mischief at the Haverford Middle School (1700 block of Darby Road) on Nov. 19 at 12:08 p.m. – Vending machine was damaged.
- Theft at Premier Imaging (500 block of West Chester Pike) on Nov. 20 at 11:45 a.m. - $450 was reported missing from a lockbox.
- Retail Theft at CVS (1100 block of West Chester Pike) on Nov. 20 at 8:23 a.m. – A white male stole shampoo and fled the store.
- Attempted Theft at Giant (100 block of W. Township Line Road) on Nov. 20 at 10:57 a.m. – A black female attempted to exit the store without paying for merchandise. The suspect left the merchandise behind and fled when she was confronted.
ARRESTS:
- Black female, 27, 4900 block of Wellington Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of marijuana, no driver’s license and unregistered vehicle. Location: 1700 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 14 at 10:51 p.m.
- White male, 31, 3200 block of Marshall Road, Drexel Hill. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 1000 block of Crest Road. Date: Nov. 17 at 1:48 p.m.
- White female, 57, 1800 block of Melrose Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Public drunkenness, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Manoa Shopping Center, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 17 at 5:51 p.m.
- White male, 61, 1800 block of Melrose Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Manoa Shopping Center, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 17 at 5:51 p.m.
- Black male, 42, 2800 block of W. 7th Street, Chester. Charges: Aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Location: 2000 Parkview Drive. Date: Nov. 19 at 8:44 a.m.
- White male, 42, unit block of Concord Avenue, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: Glendale and Burmont Roads. Date: Nov. 20 at 8:24 a.m.
