The blotter covers police handled incidents that occurred between Jan. 24 and Jan. 29 in the township.

Police handled mostly thefts, as well as a few instances of fraud.

INCIDENTS

  • Theft from Vehicle in the 100 block of Allgates Drive on Jan. 24 at 2:24 p.m. – victim’s purse was taken from her unlocked vehicle on or about Jan. 12. Numerous gift cards, credit cards and a key fob were all inside.
  • Theft from Vehicle in the 100 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 24 at 7:54 a.m. – unlocked vehicle was rummaged through, nothing was missing.
  • Theft from Vehicle in the 100 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 24 at 6:58 p.m. – loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
  • Vandalism at Hykel’s Bar (2700 block of County Line Road) on Jan. 24 at 9:05 a.m. – window was broken at the above location.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s (200 block of West Chester Pike) on Jan. 25 at 12:49 p.m. – Black female, 52 was cited for retail theft.
  • Theft from Vehicle in the 300 block of Campbell Avenue on Jan. 26 at 3:39 a.m. – officers responded to the above location for a suspicious person. Black male, 62 was arrested and charged after being found rummaging through a vehicle.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s (200 block of West Chester Pike) on Jan. 27 at 8:10 p.m. – White female, 19, was cited for Retail Theft.
  • Criminal Mischief at Acme (600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue) on Jan. 27 at 2:25 p.m. – vehicle was scratched with a shopping cart.
  • Theft in the 100 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 28 at 3:49 p.m. – loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Jan. 25.
  • Fraud in the 100 block of E. Turnbull Avenue on Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. – unauthorized purchases were made using the victim’s credit cards.
  • Bicycle Theft in the 2300 block of Darby Road on Jan. 29 at 12:16 p.m.
  • Fraud in the 300 block of Glen Ridge Road on Jan. 29 at 5:10 p.m. – victim reported that she was the victim of a secret shopper scan.
  • Fraud in the unit block of Sycamore Road on Jan. 29 at 8:12 p.m. – victim made payments to a contractor, work was not completed.

ARRESTS:

  • White female, 61, unit block of Braeburn Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI. Location: Bellemead and W. Marthart Avenue. Date: Jan. 25 at 6:45 p.m.
  • Black male, 62, 1300 block of N. Dover Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Theft from Vehicle, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, Loitering and Prowling at Nighttime. Location: 300 block of Campbell Avenue. Date: Jan. 26 at 3:39 a.m.
  • White male, 22, unit block of Bellchase Court, Baltimore. Charges: DUI, Small Amount of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, Careless Driving. Location: E. Township Line and Bewley Roads. Date: Jan. 27 at 3:16 a.m.
  • White female, 17 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Location: E. Township Line and Earlington Roads. Date: Jan. 21 at 8:29 p.m.
