Haverford Police Chief Being Honored For 50 Years Of Service

Chief John F. Viola has spent five decades protecting and serving the Haverford community, and he will be honored this week for his service.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — It's been five decades of service to the Haverford Township community for Police Chief John. F. Viola.

And for his decades of service, Viola will be honored this week.

The Haverford Township Police Department and the Township Administration will be honoring Viola for his completion of 50 years of service to the Haverford Township Community.

A small ceremony will honor Viola at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, which is marks his 50th year with the township to the date.

The ceremony will be held in the Commissioner’s Meeting room at Haverford Township Administration Building, 1014 Darby Road.
