HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — In an effort to help residents stay safe when making online transactions and custody exchanges, Haverford Township Police have established a safe exchange zone.

Safe exchange zones are set up to provide monitored, well-lit areas in which people can meet to complete online sales from marketplaces such as Craigslist and Facebook, as well as people making child custody exchanges.

The Haverford zone is located in front of the visitor parking lot at the Haverford Township Police Administration Building, 1010 Darby Road in Havertown.
