Identity Theft, Vandalism, Thefts, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

Police said guitars, computer, sneakers, and tools were stolen from a residence on the 500 block of Central Avenue.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.

The blotter features incidents that occurred between Oct. 27 and Nov. 1.

Also included in the blotter are arrests and citations.

  • Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. – Forced entry was made into a locker. $800 was stolen.
  • Theft at the 1300 block of West Chester Pike on Oct. 27 at 7:58 p.m. – Vehicle license plate was stolen.
  • Identity Theft at the 2500 block of Woodleigh Road on Oct. 27 at 9:24 p.m. – Victim reported that someone gained access to her bank account and made multiple transfers and withdraws.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 400 block of Langhorne Avenue on Oct. 27 at 5:23 p.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
  • Theft at the 500 block of Central Avenue on Oct. 28 at 8:23 a.m. – Victim reported that guitars, computer, sneakers and tools were stolen from his residence.
  • Retail Theft at Big Bang Smokes, unit block of W. Eagle Road, on Oct. 29 at 7:02 p.m. – Three unknown males stole THC cartridges.
  • Theft at the 500 block of Greenview Lane on Oct. 29 at 1:53 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Theft at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Oct. 29 at 12:42 a.m. – Victim reported that her purse was stolen from the bar. She recovered her purse in the parking lot but the wallet was missing. The wallet contained credit cards, driver’s license, key fob and $60.
  • Vandalism at the unit block of Williams Road, Highland Lane and Meadow Lane on Oct. 30 at 2:24 a.m. – Numerous mailboxes were vandalized.
  • Liquor Law Violation at the 2400 block of Whitby Road on Oct. 30 at 2:59 a.m. – 16-year-old male was cited for underage drinking.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 100 block of Colfax Road on Oct. 31 at 1:56 p.m.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 100 block of Fairlamb Avenue on Oct. 31 at 4:18 p.m.
  • Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 31 at 6:03 p.m. – Victim reported that she placed her purse on the rack while looking at clothes. When she returned to the rack the purse was gone. The purse contained $5, gift cards, credit cards, insurance card and driver’s license. Two unauthorized purchases were made with the credit card.
  • Vandalism at the unit block of Cambridge Road on Oct. 31 at 9:36 a.m. – Several political signs were vandalized.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 100 block of Colfax Road on Nov. 1 at 4:22 p.m.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of James Drive on Nov. 1 at 1:24 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a bank account.

ARRESTS:

  • 48-year-old male, Homeless. Charges: Contempt for violation of order and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 400 block of Kenmore Road. Date: Oct. 30 at 7:53 a.m.
