On July 26, 2019, Chambers got information that Wang, who used to be a student at Haverford College, told another person that he had thoughts about killing his parents and plotting to “shoot up” the Haverford College campus, the DA's office said.
Authorities found Wang and executed search warrant at his residence.
Investigators found no firearms or weapons in his residence, the DA's office said.
They did, however, find a cell phone, a computer, and several flash drives all of which were submitted to the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigation Division Cyber Crimes Unit for forensic analysis.
Wang is slated for an Aug. 8 preliminary hearing, court records show.
