Nearly $3,000 In Items Stolen From Havertown Kohl's

Thefts at major retailers such as Kohl's, Lowe's, and grocery stores in Haverford Township are happening regularly.

HAVERTOWN, PA — Thieves continue to target major retailers in Haverford Township, as police reported another theft from a department store that resulted in a nearly $3,000 loss.

According to police, the theft occurred the evening of Feb. 2 at the Havertown Kohl's store.

Police said five people, four men and a woman, are sought in connection with the theft.

At about 9:08 p.m., one of the suspects left the store then pulled an SUV up to the side of the building where there are no public exits, police said.

The other four then left through an alarmed fire door with shopping carts full of unpaid items, police said.

They got into the SUV with the items and drove off.

Police said the total value of items stolen was $2,802.96.

The suspects are described as four black men and a light-skinned woman.

The Havertown Kohl's has been a hotbed of retail thefts recently.

Police are seeking a woman who is accused of recently stealing nearly $400 worth of items.

And two men stole nearly $2,500 worth of KitchedAid Mixers and Shark Cordless Vacuums from the store.

Other recent thefts included a man taking a parka, another man taking sneakers and a backpack, and two people taking more than $4,200 worth of items.
