No Charges Filed In Upper Darby Anti-Muslim Sign Case
The man was discovered to suffer from an undisclosed mental health issue, leading police to forgo charging him in the incident.

UPPER DARBY, PA – The man who was caught on camera leaving anti-Muslim signs outside an Upper Darby Mosque recently will not face criminal charges, according to Upper Darby Police.
Upper Darby Police said on Twitter Monday, Dec. 11 that after authorities identified the man in the video, they learned he suffers from an undisclosed mental health issue
The signs were found at the Upper Darby Islamic Center on the 200 block of South 69th Street in the early hours of Monday, Nov. 27, police said.

Police said members of the mosque support the decision and recognize the male's need for help.
"Kind people indeed," police said of the Mosque's members.

Upper Darby Police told the Delaware County Daily times that the man admitted to leaving the signs and that he will be charged should a similar incident occur.
