Vehicle Shot At After Basketball Game Argument: Haverford Police

The victims told police they think the shooting stemmed from an argument at a basketball game at the Haverford Area YMCA.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township are investigating a shooting incident that occurred over the weekend.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 5:51 p.m. Sunday at West Darby and Eagle Roads.

Police were called to the 100 block of Quaker Lane in Haverford for a disabled vehicle.

There, the victims told police they believe the vehicle became disabled after it was shot while driving on West Eagle Road.

The victims told police the shooting may have stemmed from an argument at a basketball game at the Haverford Area YMCA.

Police found multiple bullet holes in the vehicle's rear and found numerous shell casings on West Eagle and Darby roads, where the victims heard shots before the vehicle was disabled.

No one was hurt, police said.
