Lacrosse: Girls Ready for Second Round
The Lady Hatters defeated Unionville Tuesday night 16-9 and will face West Chester Henderson Thursday.

The Hatboro-Horsham High School girls lacrosse team rallied past Unionville High School Tuesday night to win the first round of district playoffs.
Cortnee Daley led the team in every category - she scored goals (six), won draw control, led in ground balls and ran down the field the entire game with possession and Unionville could not take it from her.
Nicole Beck also had a supporting role scoring three goals for the Hatters with one assist. Lizzy Carr, Julie McKay and Caroline Hagan all had a pair of goals as the senior-led squad balanced the attack and came at Unionville from every direction.

Maria Guerra had one assist as she stepped up in the backfield as a key transition target for the defense and midfield. Also providing great support in the midfield was Rachel Rausa, who also had a nice share of ground balls off the draw to win possession for the Hatters - who controlled the clock and the game after the 45-minute lightning delay.
With the win, Hatboro-Horsham advances to the second round of district playoffs Thursday versus West Chester Henderson at West Chester at 4 p.m.
