Anti-Trump 'Action Event' Cancelled In Lansdale

LANSDALE, PA -- The political unrest and deep divide across the nation will find its way to Lansdale this weekend, as a "people power action event" protesting President Trump is planned for Saturday.

The event's goal is to fight against the "worst abuses" of President Trump and his administration. Similar events are taking place around the nation, where participants will watch a live stream video of the American Civil Liberties Union's "People Power" video.

"We'll watch the Resistance Training live and talk about next steps for organizing to resist Trump’s attacks on our basic freedoms," organizers said.

Rallies in support of President Trump have been held around the area over the past week, including in Newtown.
