Community Flag Day Observance

National Flag Day is June 14. Please come out for this short celebration of patriotism and pride in America. We will have a military historian speak about the Iwo Jima memorial and show a Purple Heart display. We will review flag etiquette. If you have a torn or tattered flag, we will collect it for an honorable disposal by the American Legion. We will collect non-perishable food for troop care packages. We will have little American flags for the kids. It's an opportunity to bring our fine community together for a bit.
