NPSD Transportation Department K-Day

North Penn School District Transportation Department will hold its annual K-Day event for kindergarten and first-grade students riding the bus for ths first time this fall.

K-Days will be held Aug. 11, 18 and 25, with two bus departure times, at 9 and 11 a.m.

The program is designed to ease the anxiety that students face who have never ridden the bus before.

Participants will be invited to explore the bus, and even sit in the driver's seat while NPSD bus drivers explain safety and information. Then parents, students and siblings can take a short ride around the neighborhood.

Please practice being on time for your stop and be prompt.

Students from surrounding non-public and private schools are also encouraged to attend. No reservations are necessary.
