Congregation Beth Or and the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (Pennsylvania and Southern NJ Chapter) invite the community to a special Hanukah Celebration featuring "The Druze and the Jews."
In 1948, Shech Labib Abu Rukun signed the "blood agreement" between the Druze and the Jews. On Tuesday evening December 20, we will be taken on a personal journey through the eyes of his grandson, the Deputy Israeli Consulate Raslan Abu Rukun. The Consul Abu Rukun will share his story through multi-media and music by Tzvia Wexler and Ensemble.
