Young Musicians Community Orchestra Presents Fall Concert

Young Musicians Community Orchestra (YMCO) will present its fall concert on Sunday, November 6 at 6:30 pm at Christopher Dock High School. Guest soloist Eva Young, of the University of Delaware, will perform Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D Major, first movement.

The featured work is Ancient Airs and Dances for full orchestra with harp and harpsichord. There will also be a short performance of lute music, which was the source of Respighi’s work. Other works on the program include Mozart’s Serenade for Winds, selected movements, and the Rosamunde Overture by Franz Schubert.

Director Stanley Yoder and associate conductors Jonas Yoder and Veronica Mascaro will lead the orchestra. General admission is $8.00, and admission for students and seniors is $5.00. The concert will be held in the Clemens Theater in Longacre Center. A campus map and directions are available at www.ymco.org.
