Lansdale Appoints William Breish To Vacant Council Position
Meet Lansdale's newest borough councilman: William Breish.

LANSDALE, PA — The Lansdale Borough Council has appointed a new councilman to fill a vacancy.
William "BJ" Breish will fill the seat left by former councilman Steve Malagari in War One. Malagari was elected as state representative in the 53rd legislative district last November.
A 17-year veteran employee of the borough, Breish has experience on the Economic Development Committee.

He also recently created the Friends of Lansdale Parks, which brings together volunteers in support of Lansdale's park system.
"I will continue to deliver on my promise to provide servant leadership throughout our community, continue to lead with humility and integrity, and continue to provide my support to the members of our community that are focused on the advancement of society and the development of others," Breish said in a statement.

Committee assignments have not yet been determined.
Breish's term expires in Dec. 2019.
