Lansdale Man Who Allegedly Cut Out Exhaust System From Girlfriend's Car Waives Hearing: Report

A Lansdale man arrested for allegedly cutting the exhaust system out of his ex-girlfriend’s car and selling it in a junkyard has waived his preliminary hearing, according to The Reporter.

Brian Joseph Beck, 37, of Pierce Street, is a mechanic, and had allegedly threatened damage to her vehicle during previous arguments, the report states.

When the girlfriend went to start the car on November 7, it was very loud, and she instantly suspected Beck when she saw missing parts had been cut away, according to the report.

The system was allegedly sold by Beck for $100 at a nearby junkyard in a transaction in which he used the name “John Stoner,” the report states.
