The pergolas in Railroad Plaza will be completely renovated, the borough said.

LANSDALE, PA -- The pergolas in Railroad Plaza will be completely renovated, the borough said.
The existing pergolas standing at the top the small staircase has deteriorated over the years and will be largely demolished, officials said.
A local architect has designed a new structure which will provide a complete makeover to the pergolas.

The new materials used will be "maintenance free," officials said.
The project is slated to be completed later this summer.
