Madison Parking Lot In Lansdale To Shut Down

LANSDALE, PA — Lansdale's Madison parking lot will close to the public beginning later this month, the borough has announced. The closure will be in effect beginning Monday, Oct. 16.

Developers with Equus are moving forward with the next stages of their project in the area, and need to close the lot to begin their work.

In the meantime, SEPTA commuters may park for free in the SEPTA parking garage.

Patrons of Main Street businesses can park in any of the nearby municipal services lots, including Vine Street, West Main Street, and Walnut Street.

When completed, the new development in the area will include improvements to the Liberty Trail, a public gathering place, a police kiosk, high-end apartments, and retail.
