Montco Community College Named 'Most Promising Place To Work' In National Study
In a study that examined colleges nationwide, Montgomery County Community College was named a "Most Promising Place To Work."

BLUE BELL, PA -- In a study that examined colleges nationwide, Montgomery County Community College was named a "Most Promising Place To Work."
The study, released by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, listed Montco as one of only 11 community colleges nationwide to receive the honor. It's the only college in Pennsylvania named to the list.
Diverse looked at things like workplace diversity, staffing practices, work environment, family friendliness, salary and benefits, and professional development opportunities, the school said.

“This is a tremendous honor,” MCCC President Kevin Pollock said in a statement. “The faculty and staff work hard to make Montgomery County Community College a diverse, welcoming and friendly organization where employees and students alike can develop and succeed.”
In addition to MCCC, other colleges honored include Blinn College, El Centro College, Mountain View College, Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Pierpont Community and Technical College, Seward County Community College, South Florida State College, Southwest Virginia Community College, Stella and Charles Guttman Community College and Tallahassee Community College.
