No Tax Increase For Lansdale Budget In 2016: Report
Residents and business owners can breathe a sigh of relief.

LANSDALE, PA - Residents and business owners can breathe a sigh of relief: taxes will not be going up in 2016.
The news came as the budget was finalized for the borough last week, according to a Montgomery News report.
“I’m very proud of what we did with the budget. There are no increases, and for a lot of people on fixed incomes, that’s huge. We tried to keep things down, as minimal as we possibly could,” council President Leon Angelichio told Montgomery News.

The budget has been in the works for months. It contains about $34 million of planned expenditures and adds $980,00 to borough reserves, the report states.
Describing the budget as a “monumental task,” officials appeared relieved they were able to approve it when they did.
