No Weapons, No Concealed Carries At Montgomery County Community College: Report
Montgomery County Community College has implemented a new policy completely banning weapons on campus property.

Montgomery County Community College has updated their weapons policy to clarify that weapons are not permitted on any part of school property, a rule which also applies to those with a concealed carry permit.
According to The Intelligencer, the school's Board of Trustees voted unanimously to implement the new policy on Monday.
Officials added that the measure was "proactive" and was not in response to any single occurrence, the report states.

The following weapons have reportedly been banned:
- firearms, loaded or unloaded
- pellet, flare, tranquilizer, stun and dart guns
- knives with blades larger than a small folding knife
- daggers or swords
- striking instruments such as clubs, truncheons and blackjacks
- martial arts weapons
- bow and arrow combinations
- explosive devices
Exceptions include armed guards, law enforcement, and military personnel.
