LANSDALE, PA — When Hurricane Harvey battered Houston and the Gulf Coast this month, North Penn School District sixth grader Emma Hersh was determined to make a difference.
The Gwyn-Nor Elementary student organized a fundraiser with the assistance of staff at the school.
Emma's tireless work helped lead to more than $800 being raised for Harvey relief, the school district said.
