North Penn Elementary To Hold Veterans Day Assembly
One North Penn elementary school will hold a special Veterans Day assembly on Friday. How do you commemorate those who served?
Students and staff at A.M. Kulp Elementary School in the North Penn School District will hold a Veterans Day Assembly Program on Friday in honor of the holiday.
The program will begin with an introduction from Principal Neil Broxterman explaining the importance of this holiday and the sacrifices that thousands of men and women in the armed forces--past and present--have made for our freedom, the district said.
The students will then hear from a local Veteran who also happens to be the father of a Kulp student. A brief video presentation will be shown and the program will conclude with the reading of a few short essays written by Kulp students in honor of Veterans Day, the school said.

The presentation will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the gym at A.M. Kulp Elementary School, located at 801 Cowpath Road in Hatfield.
