Elementary school students have an ambitious goal: raise $12,000.

LANSDALE, PA – North Penn elementary school students have an ambitious goal: raise $12,000.

Students, staff and families at General Nash Elementary School will take part in the march on Tuesday during three designated times to raise money for the General Nash Home and School Association.

For every two laps that students complete, they will receive foot charms from parent and staff volunteers, according to the district.

The Association helps fund things like field trips, assemblies, student activities, programs, and more.

In preparation for the event, Nash encouraged students and families to collect money through sponsorships to help reach their goal. The top three classes who earn beyond their Target Goals will win a Classroom Party of their teacher's choice, North Penn said.
