The resurfacing is expected to be completed in early July, officials said.

North Wales, PA -- Construction is scheduled to start Monday, June 13, to repair and resurface over three miles of North Wales Road between Morris Road and Welsh Road in North Wales Borough and Upper Gwynedd Township, PennDOT announced in a press release.

The resurfacing of North Wales Road will seal the pavement to prevent water from penetrating beneath the surface and causing damage to the road base, and provide motorists with a smooth riding surface, officials said.

The contractor will work weeknights from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to mill off the deteriorated riding surface and resurface the highway.
