• Man stole nearly $600 worth of items from Macy's, police say (northpennnow.com) — Montgomery Township police say a 68-year-old Philadelphia man is charged with felony retail theft after nearly $600 in merchandise was taken from the Macy's on Bethlehem Pike, just outside Montgomeryville. Store loss prevention detained him until officers arrived, and a preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 6. Residents may notice increased attention to shoplifting at this busy local shopping spot.
