On a summer-like Wednesday in Philadelphia, everything was red hot, except the Phillies offense, which scored less than five runs for the ninth straight game.

Still, the team mustered together enough offense , riding a 3 run shot by Placido Polanco and a solo homer by Shane Victorino to victory.

Cliff Lee went six innings giving up two earned runs, and now the Phillies are headed to San Diego for a four game series.
