Progress Continues On Repainting Of Lansdale's Water Tower
The North Penn Water Tower is in the process of being repainted.

Progress on the repainting of the Lansdale water tower continues, as the structure inches closer to completion.
The tower on West Third Street and North Richardson Avenue has not been repainted for 60 years.

The new design for the tower was chosen from among a list of multiple finalists by a vote open to the community.
Construction began on the tower in April as the North Penn Water Authority began sandblasting and repainting the enormous structure.

A canopy is currently over part of the tower to prevent debris from dropping around the area.
It is slated to be completed as early as later in August.
