Public Forum To Be Held On New Drug Addiction Resource Alliance In Montgomery County
The new Drug Addiction Resource Alliance, organized by a local district judge, is hosting a public information forum.

The new Drug Addiction Resource Alliance (D.A.R.A.), organized by a local district judge, is hosting a public information forum in Hatfield on March, 9 at 7 p.m. The event will take place in the Hatfield Township Municipal Building.
D.A.R.A. is a collective of community groups working together to fight the addiction crisis in Montgomery County.
It was launched by Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy in response to the increasing number of opioid overdoses and deaths in the county and surrounding region.

The meeting on March 9 will present an overview of ways that D.A.R.A. can help those whose lives have been impacted by addiction.
"Even if addiction has not impacted your life YET, please attend our forum to understand what is drastically affecting our community," the organization's spokespersons said.

A drop box will be provided for unwanted medication to be dropped off. A free Narcan training will also be provided after the presentation. Please RSVP for that at davewarriors73@gmail.com.

The Hatfield municipal building is located on 1950 School Road in Hatfield.
