Rwandan Genocide Survivor Visits Lansdale: Report

Pascasie Musabyemungu survived the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. And he had a message for students in Lansdale on Friday.

LANSDALE, PA -- A survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide visited Lansdale Catholic High School on Friday, discussing the impact which small acts of charity can have around the world.

Pascasie Musabyemungu, who is now a program manager with Catholic Relief Services, spoke at a school assembly about her group's work, a report states.

Musabyemungu reportedly taught students her native word for peace - amahoro - and had them repeat it.
