SATs Postponed, Winter Ball to Be Held as Scheduled Saturday
An impending snow and ice storm has prompted school officials to postpone Saturday's SATs until Feb. 7. The Winter Ball is still on, though.
North Penn has postponed Saturday’s SAT exams due to the impending snow and ice storm. However, the Winter Ball at North Penn High School will be held as scheduled.
According to an announcement on the district’s website, SATs have been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 7.
A winter storm is expected to drop between three and five inches of snow on Lansdale overnight Friday into Saturday. The storm will start late enough that there should be no trouble with the evening commute, the National Weather Service said.

According to forecasters, the snow will begin after 9 p.m. Friday, with the bulk of the snow falling after 11 p.m. The snow will change to rain early Saturday morning and about a tenth of an inch of ice is likely.
