MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Almost every Montgomery Township ward voted blue on Tuesday, a breakdown of the local 2019 election results shows.

The election saw Democrats flip two seats on the Montgomery Township board of supervisors, giving Democrats 3-2 control.

Democrats Beth Staab and Annette Long won seven of the township's eight wards. Republicans Frank Davey and Theresa Tran earned majority votes in just one ward, Ward 4.

Despite this, the ward-by-ward breakdown shows that the election was closely fought in most parts of the township. In multiple wards Democrats held majorities of less than 50 votes.
