Shakespeare Will Power Actors Travel to North Penn
"Bringing a visual performance of Hamlet to the stage will help students....engaging and immersing in Shakespeare."

LANSDALE, PA – The North Penn School District has announced that they will host the Will Power actors from DeSales University on Tuesday, October 11th at 10:15 a.m. at North Penn High School in the Auditorium.
Funded by a grant from the NPSD Educational Foundation, the Will Power actors will perform a truncated 90-minute show of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet for Theatre and English students in grades 10 through 12 beginning at 10:15 a.m.and lasting until 12:00 p.m., according to the school district.
NPHS Theatre students will then participate in workshops with the Will Power actors, a press release states.

"The professional performance offers students the rich texture of the play, the complexity of the characters, their motives, and relationships, the brilliance of the dialogue and the true staging of a Shakespearean tragedy," North Penn said in a statement. "Bringing a visual performance of Hamlet to the stage will help students study drama, specifically engaging and immersing them in Shakespearean language and poetry."
Following the performance, the company will provide a discussion about performing and technique.
