LANSDALE, PA — Commencement activities will begin Thursday afternoon for the North Penn class of 2017, and you can watch the proceedings live.
Commencement is slated for June 8 at 6 p.m.
School officials said that 1,087 seniors will be graduating as part of the North Penn High School class of 2017.

The 62nd Commencement Ceremony will be held at Crawford Stadium.
"Congratulations to these hardworking students for all that they have achieved during their time in the North Penn School District. We thank you for your contributions to our schools and our community and wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors. We look forward to welcoming you back as proud alumni in years to come," the district said in a statement.
